Love Letter to the Wind

Dear sister Wind,

You are busy today! I hope you'll take a little rest from combing the trees' hair and limbering their spines to read this. I love the way you like to travel, inspecting every place you can reach. I'm opening my windows so you can visit and see what we're up to. I love the way you bring with you treasures from everywhere--seeds, water, sometimes even whole trees!

Your energy refreshes me, and makes the kundalini rise, you spank the shores with waves, blow away the smoke and smog arising from our unconsciousness. You can be strong and fierce, light and playful, all in the same moment. You freshen and cleanse the air and water, used and reused by so many trillions of beings, as you carry the sun's power through the great cycles.

I hope and work so that what you will find to pick up and carry may be clean and healthy for all beings. Thank you for your generous gifts. May you enter my soul and blow away all fear and worry, jealousy and anger, shredding them to nothing as I open my heart to you.
